About Eden Landscapes

I started Eden Landscapes in 2017 after five years working for two of the bigger landscaping firms in Sheffield, watching quotes get inflated and jobs get rushed to fit three sites into a week that should have taken two. Customers were paying for a proper design consultation and getting a lad with a spirit level and whatever slabs were left on the van from the last job. I wanted to build gardens the way I'd want mine built: measured properly, quoted honestly, and finished before we moved on to the next one.

For the first two years it was just me and a trailer, mostly turfing and small patios around Doncaster. By 2020 I'd taken on two full-time groundworkers and started fitting decking and full garden redesigns rather than single features. We joined the Association of Professional Landscapers in 2021, partly to have our work checked against a proper standard rather than just our own judgement, and partly because clients kept asking who regulates this trade and I didn't have a good answer.

Nine years in, we're still a small team: four of us, plus seasonal help for planting in spring. Every quote is still measured up by someone who'll be on the job themselves. We cover Doncaster, Rotherham, Sheffield, Barnsley, Scunthorpe and Goole now, but the way we work hasn't changed: one crew, one job at a time, no subcontracted gangs finishing what we started.
