Most of our design work starts with a garden that’s stopped working for the people living in it: a lawn that floods every winter, a patio that’s cracking over old coal workings, or a plot that’s never been used properly since the house was built. We measure the site, check drainage and soil, and come back with a design that accounts for what’s actually under the ground, not just what looks good on paper.
South Yorkshire’s clay soil holds water longer than most designers allow for, so we build in proper drainage falls and sub-base depths from the start rather than fixing a sinking patio a year later. Planting is chosen for what survives an exposed plot through a Doncaster winter, not just what looks good in a show garden in June.
Design and build usually run 2 to 4 weeks depending on scope. From £3,500 for a full redesign of an average semi’s rear garden, more for larger plots or significant groundwork. Get a free site visit and a written quote before anything is booked in.
